Red Carpet Inn Ogdensburg is a great place to get some rest, and camping at Camp Carol Camps is always a nice experience. Summertime highs at Mud Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Mud Lake.       Just can't get enough of Mud Lake. Lakes are such serene spots, why not visit Yellow Lake close to Mud Lake. A wonderful close by hotel is Quality Inn Gran-View, and get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Oswegatchie River. This lake is so wonderful. Gouverneur Country Club is a great golf course close by; a good location for whitewater paddling is Indian River.
