Camping at Sunset Park is always a great experience, and Mud Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Syracuse KOA is a glorious local campground. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! Mud Lake is great!. During the summer here at Mud Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are generally       in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Mud Lake. Get your heart pumping on the nice whitewater of Owasco River; dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Fairgrounds. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Oswego River, and The Red Mill Inn is a fine spot to get some rest. Mud Lake is a good site of normal precipitation; the month with most of the rain is November while February                  is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
