Nineteenth Pond is a nearby lake that you could pop by; Microtel Inn and Suites Syracuse -Baldwinsville- is a perfect place to get some rest. The nice folks of Auburn like to hang out close by, and after a long day outdoors The Red Mill Inn is a great site to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Mud Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Syracuse KOA is a magnificent place       for that; in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Oswego River. So much enjoyable stuff to do at Mud Lake, so little time. A quick visit to Mud Lake Inlet close to Mud Lake is a delightful idea; Mud Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Sunset Park is a magnificent local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Owasco River, and do stop by Cross Lake, it's                  a delightful lake. Mud Lake is a good place of normal rain; November is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Through the summertime months at Mud Lake highs are ordinarily in the 70's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 60's.
