If you are traveling by, why not stop by Mud Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Cranberry Lake. Mud Lake is located in the Adirondack Mountains. Mud Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

Camping is available at Adirondack Gateway Campground, and if you need a place to stay Americas Best Inns-Herkimer is a pleasant choice. Yep, outdoors exciting things to do are beyond doubt plentiful here at Mud Lake. Hall Vly is a swamp right next door to Mud Lake, and the Twin Lakes Trail offers hiking at its best.

it here in the Adirondack Mountains. Some of the water nearby flows, like Stony Brook, and not far from Mud Lake you'll come across Mounts Creek Lake which is a beautiful lake. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all
the amusing things in the Adirondack Mountains. In case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on West Canada Creek, and why not camp at Ace Of Diamonds Mine if you're here at Mud Lake.
After a long day outdoors Knights Inn Little Falls is a glorious place to spend a night or two, and there's good hiking along the Party Trail.
