Beautiful Mud Lake has much to offer visitors. Mud Lake is a wet location that gets a great deal of rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Throughout the months of summer, highs generally are in the 70's at Mud Lake with nighttime lows in the 50's. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of folks from Gloversville here at Mud Lake, and while you're here you ought to stop by Higgins Bay.
