Mud Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Now, you may think that's a lot but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. You're sure to encounter some friendly folks from Gloversville here; a splendid place for whitewater paddling is Sacandaga River - West Branch. A beautiful lake like Buckhorn Lake next to Mud Lake is a perfect location to stop by, and there's splendid hiking along the Hamilton Mountain

of Piseco Outlet close to Mud Lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Mud Lake has to offer, you can camp at Pine Lake Campground and RV Park.
This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene locations, why not
pop by Piseco Lake near Mud Lake, and you ought to pop by Higgins Bay when you're here. During the warm days of summer highs here at Mud Lake get into the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures
all through the winter are normally in the 20's; through the dark hours in the winter at Mud Lake temperatures descend to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Johnstown-Gloversville, Ny is a good
place to spend a night or two.
And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do close to Mud Lake. Mud Lake Mountain can be seen from Mud Lake. There's so much to do here at Mud Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Campsite is a fine spot for that.
