    Why not stop by Mud Lake if you're passing through these parts. There are plenty of folks from Gloversville here at Mud Lake, and camping is available at Pine Lake Campground and RV Park. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Higgins Bay is not far from Mud Lake at all; as expected North Vly is a wonderful stream that is worth taking a look at.
You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool things the area
 
   close to Mud Lake has to offer. Lakes are wonderful; Owl Pond is a lake that's near Mud Lake, and one of the major features of the surroundings of Mud Lake is Mud Lake Mountain. Yeah, come up here to the Adirondack Mountains for a brilliant time. This is a perfect neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Spy Lake is a lake close at hand; on a perfect day you can take a hike along the Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail. Whitewater paddling is good on Piseco Outlet,  
               and the Sucker Brook Trail is a brilliant hiking trail nearby.
Be careful coming to the Adirondack Mountains, you might not ever wanna go home again. Paddling on Sacandaga River - West Branch is so much fun, and if you came for an overnight stay Campsite is a magnificent place to camp. All the water falling down from the sky makes Mud Lake a wet location; the wettest month of the year is mostly August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February. During the summer at Mud Lake highs are frequently in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's while Mud Lake overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 0's.

Nine Corner Lake
Never been there...going there soon though....l\Love it there, going today. :)...Great spot for swimming in the summer. Clear waters, with many rocks and small cliffs to jump off, along with a rope swing! Its a heavily used area, made apparent by the large amount of garbage left around during the busy months, but  all in all a good lake and definatley worth the short hike....
