Mud Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Now, you may think that's a lot but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. You're sure to encounter some friendly folks from Gloversville here; a splendid place for whitewater paddling is Sacandaga River - West Branch. A beautiful lake like Buckhorn Lake next to Mud Lake is a perfect location to stop by, and there's splendid hiking along the Hamilton Mountain
