Mud Lake is always a pleasure to visit. What a location this is for outdoors folks. An afternoon playing golf at Nick Stoner Municipal Golf Course is always a delight, and there's whitewater on Sprite Creek for all you adrenaline people. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Mud Lake you will meet lots of folks from close by Amsterdam. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Mud Lake has to offer, you can camp at Pine Lake Campground and

| | RV Park. For the duration of the summertime months here at Mud Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's; nighttime lows in the 0's for Mud Lake. Mud Lake is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. more cool stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. After a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Palatine Bridge is a wonderful place to spend a night or two, and you can run the rapids of Caroga Creek. Point Breeze is next to Mud Lake
and is a delightful place to pop by, and a lake close by is Canada Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Mud Lake is not the only place close by, West Lake is a close by lake; swamps like Lily Lake are fun to go to. Having a good time
in the Adirondack Mountains is trouble-free. At Mud Lake you can catch a sight of Kane Mountains. There's so much to do here at Mud Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Campsite is a good location for that. Dry warm beds
await you at Holiday Inn Johnstown-Gloversville, Ny, and going for a hike along the Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.

Clear waters, with many rocks and small cliffs to jump off, along with a rope swing! Its a heavily used area, made apparent by the large amount of garbage left around during the busy months, but all in all a good lake and definatley worth the short hike.... |
