What a nice lake Mud Lake is. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Ranch Side Park. And if that's not sufficient there's a lot more exciting things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Take a hike on the Oregon Trail, and a good nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Johnstown-Gloversville, Ny. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Johnstown/Gloversville Super 8 Motel is a great site to spend a night or two, and do visit Woodward Lake, it's a beautiful lake. in the 80's; the overnight is a little cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Mud Lake. Now, you may feel that's heaps but there's even more amusing
things to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. Get yourself into a kayak and hit East Stony Creek, and a charming lake like Sacandaga Park Reservoir is a wonderful place to pop by. Mud Lake is located in the Adirondack Mountains.
A good deal of rainfall falls at Mud Lake; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
