Go to Mud Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Catskill Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Of Liberty. For the duration of the long summer days highs here at Mud Lake reach the 70's; the overnight is fairly cooler of course, typically in the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and night lows during the wintertime for Mud Lake tend to be in the 10's.

| | Don't leave Mud Lake without first paying a visit to Tompkins Falls, and you can never get enough of the perfect skiing at Belleayre. Howard Johnson Inn Liberty NY is a glorious place to get some rest; naturally Barkaboom Stream is a beautiful stream that is worth stopping at. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Mud Lake. The sight of Hunt Hill from Mud Lake is wonderful, and a stunning lake like Little Pond is a great place to explore.

no way anyone can get bored here in the Catskill Mountains. Skiing at Ski Plattekill is one of those things you just should do; Tremper Kill River has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby. So many exciting things to do in the
Catskill Mountains, not enough time. Camp L'Man Achai is a delightful campground nearby; you'll stumble on a beautiful lake called Big Pond. The high level of rainfall makes Mud Lake a quite wet site; throughout May this area sees
the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Mill Brook is so much fun; you can stay the night at Covered Bridge Campsite.
