Mud Lake is a beautiful lake in the Catskill Mountains. Mud Lake is a wet site that gets much precipitation; May is the month that gets the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. You absolutely must fancy the Catskill Mountains. Mud Lake is not the only place nearby, Laurel Lake is a nearby lake, and camping at Camp L'Man Achai is always a brilliant experience. This lake is so wonderful. Put some time aside to spend       at Tompkins Falls since you're here at Mud Lake. Summer at Mud Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while Mud Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. All the outdoors fun things near Mud Lake will keep you coming back persistently. Really great skiing awaits you at Belleayre, and paddling on Tremper Kill River is so much fun.
