 | 1 PHOTO Pack Forest Lake is on a tributary of Millington Brook in Warren County, New York and is used for recreation purposes. It has a normal surface area of 77 acres. It is owned by Suny College Of Environmental Science and Forestry. There are no motors allowed on the lake. No fires and no overnight camping allowed. Dogs must be on a leash. There is great fishing, canoeing and kayaking. An absolutely beautiful lake in the woods. The lake has handicapped fishing access as well.... |

Oxshoe Pond
| 14 miles away What a terrific place to spend the night or even a few days. I went there on my first hike ever, and I am going back this week. It is about a 3-4 hour hike into the trail, but man is it worth it. If you are lucky enough to be the only group there, you will find a lean-2 and fire pit all to yourself. Also, there is a very secluded pond(oxshoe pond) in the same valley, that is just spectacular. A row boat is on hand to use for free for anyone at the site. No cell service with Verizon there, but then again, who needs that? lol again though, an absolutely amazing place to spend a few nights.... |

It Is the cleanest campground I have ever camped at. It's so convient for shopping,Weather you like the shops In Lake George or the outlets,You can be there In 15 mins. Then come back to camp for a nice relaxing night by the fire. Check It out I did and I love It.... |
