Yep, outdoors exciting things to do are beyond doubt abundant here at Mountain Lake. Take a hike on the Seager West Branch Trail; Mountain Lake is a perfect place to camp, Willowemoc Campgrounds is a perfect place. Much precipitation falls at Mountain Lake; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! The Catskill Mountains rocks!       What would winter be without some skiing at Ski Plattekill. The slopes of Belleayre are so inviting noone can resist; let's not forget Alder Creek which is a stream that you may bump into during your stay. Now, you may think that's a lot but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Catskill Mountains. Barkaboom Mountain is painless to spot from Mountain Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Mill Brook offers some fine whitewater. For the                  duration of the summertime highs here at Mountain Lake get into the 70's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Mountain Lake sink into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Covered Bridge Campsite is a glorious campground here, and Beaverkill Valley Inn is a great location to get some rest. Mountain Lake is located in the Catskill Mountains.
