You'll need more than a day to explore everything Mountain Lake has to offer, you can camp at Butternut Grove Campsite, and Edwards Pond is a delightful lake close by. Stay the night at Russell Brook Campsite, and after a long day outdoors Villa Roma Resort Lodges is a magnificent site to spend a night or two. So much amusing stuff next to Mountain Lake, simply extraordinary. Cooks Hollow is a nice place to have a look at close by, and there are other spots

| | here than Mountain Lake, for example Lake Muskoday. All the water falling down from the sky makes Mountain Lake a wet spot; the month with most of the rain is May, and February on the other hand is the driest.

Cook Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at, and a golf course close by is Twin Village Golf Club. If you need a place to stay Howard Johnson Inn Liberty NY is a brilliant choice; a visit to Upper Delaware Scenic & Recreational River is worthwhile.

Do you have any info on ice fishing Big Pond? I'll be there on 2-7-09. fishing shallow or deep for trout? I normally fish on the Peapacton. only fished BP once, and had a nice trout hit, but missed him! Thanks....
