You'll need more than a day to explore everything Mountain Lake has to offer, you can camp at Butternut Grove Campsite, and Edwards Pond is a delightful lake close by. Stay the night at Russell Brook Campsite, and after a long day outdoors Villa Roma Resort Lodges is a magnificent site to spend a night or two. All the water falling down from the sky makes Mountain Lake a wet spot; the month with most of the rain is May, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
