Mountain Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. If you came to camp Russell Brook Campsite is a wonderful location to do that; if you come at the right time of year, Beaver Kill River offers some fine whitewater. For you golfers we recommend close by Twin Village Golf Club, and of course, this is a tremendous area for folks who like lakes, Edwards Pond is a lake in the neighborhood. | | with nighttime lows in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's while Mountain Lake overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. Mountain Lake gets a good deal of water; May is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is February. What a location this is for outdoors folks. close by. After a long day outdoors Howard Johnson Inn Liberty NY is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two, and Upper Delaware Scenic & Recreational River is one of the destinations that are delightful to visit close by. Mountain
Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Butternut Grove Campsite is a delightful local campground, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Schiff Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent close by
hotel is Villa Roma Resort Lodges. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Callicoon Creek - North Branch, and a magnificent location is Cooks Hollow.
