Moules Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Alps Family Campground is a nice local campground, and you'll probably meet some people from Albany-Schenectady-Troy here. Moules Lake gets a typical amount of rain; June is when you get the most rain here while February is usually the driest month. If you need a site to stay Residence Inn by Marriott Albany East Greenbush Tech Valley is a fine       choice, and some nearby water includes Quacken Kill. This lake is so wonderful. Fairfield Inn By Marriott East Greenbush is a good place to get some rest, and if you came to camp Dingman's Campgrounds is a pleasant site to do that. Now, you may believe that's a load but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Moules Lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Poesten Kill River, and Racquet Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. Summertime                  brings highs in the 80's to Moules Lake while night lows are commonly in the 60's.
