Go for a hike on the Stimson Trail. There's so much to do here at Moss Ponds that you need to camp here for a while, Paradise Pines Camping Resort is a nice location for that. High temperatures at Moss Ponds through the summertime are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are typically in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Moss Ponds through       the winter mostly drop into the 0's. Moss Ponds gets a common amount of annual rainfall; most of the rain falls throughout August, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Weston Trail is always a good adventure, and it's a delightful idea to visit Moss Pond Brook. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Very beautiful scenery and brilliant skiing is what you get at Whiteface Mountain, and since you're                  here, you could also pop by lovely Makomis Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Moss Ponds is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Shearer's Riverside Campsite is a pleasant local campground. Gui Pond is a nearby lake that you could go to, and pleasant hiking is available along the Dix Trail. And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do right next door to Moss Ponds. If you come at the right time of year, Schroon River offers some good whitewater, and the peak of Catamount Mountain can be spotted from Moss Ponds. So many cool things to do here in the Adirondack Mountains, too great to be true.
