A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Moss Pond; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Adirondak Loj is a great campground nearby, and Allen Mountain is clearly visible from Moss Pond. You clearly have to fancy the Adirondack Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Whispering Pines Campground is a good place to camp, and the Shorey Short Cut is a great hiking trail close by.

Brook while you're here at Moss Pond. Lakes? Sure, Lake of the Clouds Tear is close by. This lake is so wonderful. There is a delightful hiking trail close to Moss Pond called the Hopkins Trail; in the event that you don't mind
getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on John's Brook. Moss Pond is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains.
