It's always fun to stop by Moss Pond. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Adirondack Mountains. Whiteface Mountain is a great local ski area, and if you've had enough of Moss Pond, Lake of the Clouds Tear is nearby. Allen Mountain is a peak you can see from Moss Pond. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Moss Pond has to offer, you can camp at Whispering Pines Campground. Good hiking is available along the Shorey Short Cut. This lake is so

| | wonderful. Don't leave Moss Pond without first going for a hike along the Van Hoevenberg Trail; if you need a site to stay Econo Lodge Lake Placid is a great choice. High temperatures at Moss Pond during the warm days of summer are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. that. All the outdoors amusing things in close proximity to Moss Pond will keep you coming back many times. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Mount Pisgah, and in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go
whitewater paddling on John's Brook. A common amount of rain falls here at Moss Pond; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. Moss Pond is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack
Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Moss Pond; Hopkins Trail is a great local trail; after a long day outdoors Courtyard Lake Placid is a pleasant place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Allen Brook is a great local stream, and you're possibly into lakes, Lake Arnold is one of those nearby.
