You'll need more than a day to look at everything Mosquito Pond has to offer, you can camp at Whispering woods, and Mosquito Pond is not the only site close by, Handsome Pond is a close by lake. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains. Mosquito Pond gets lots of water;       throughout August this area sees the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. Mosquito Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a nice time here at Mosquito Pond. Take a hike on the Northville Lake Placid Trail, naturally you could also visit Mud Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. So much exciting stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not sufficient time. Woodlake Inn is a great place                  to get some rest, and paddling on Raquette River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Mosquito Pond you can see Big Brook Hills, and drift down the rapids of Round Lake Outlet in a kayak. Summer at Mosquito Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's.
