West Mountain is a brilliant local ski area; Moreau Lake is not far at all from Glens Falls. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Moreau Lake. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Moreau Lake. Get covered with water paddling on Hudson River, and Bay Meadows Golf Club is a tremendous golf course       close by. If you came for an overnight stay Adirondack Gateway RV Resort is a great spot to camp, and if you want to hit the beach, Haviland Cove Beach is in close proximity. And that's not all you can do here at Moreau Lake. A delightful nearby hotel is Glens Falls/Queensbury Super 8 Motel, and you obtain a brilliant vista of Grant Mountain from here. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at American Campground if you're here at Moreau Lake; lakes are                  such calm places, why not go to Keenan Intake Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Moreau Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
