Do stop by Mongaup Pond while you're in this part of New York. This lake is so wonderful. Why not check out close by Sucker Brook if you're here at Mongaup Pond, and Days Inn Of Liberty is a glorious spot to get some rest. Mongaup Pond is a wet spot that gets a lot of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is May; February is when it's the driest. This lake is one of the great places here in the Catskill Mountains.
