The sight of Mongaup Mountain from Mongaup Pond is striking, and a lake close by is Frick Pond. Mongaup Pond is located in the Catskill Mountains. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Mongaup Pond. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with temperatures       at Mongaup Pond dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Catskill Mountains. You could also have a look at Hodge Pond if you're here at Mongaup Pond; it's nearby; some of the water close by flows, like Sucker Brook. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Catskill Mountains.
