Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Peters Kill River, and do take a hike on the Vernooy Falls Trail. The Comfort Trail offers hiking at its best, and Eagle Cliff is something you shouldn't miss while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Kanape Jeep Trail, and camping at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park       At Lazy River is always a glorious experience. Summertime at Mohonk Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Mohonk Lake. Any time is a great time at Mohonk Lake if you like the outdoors. Stone Dock Golf Course is a fine golf course close by, and camping is available at Rondout Valley Camping Resort. Mohonk Lake gets                  a lot of water; May is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Hunter Mountain is a splendid local ski area, and lakes are such serene sites, why not visit Duck Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Mouru Kusti, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Moosy Brook. Mohonk Mountain House is a delightful site to get some rest, and there are plenty of people from Kingston here at Mohonk Lake.
