If you need a site to stay RPAMI - Red Carpet Inn Milford is a nice choice, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Holiday Mountain is pretty near. This lake is so wonderful. Hotel Fauchere is a wonderful site to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Mohican Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Tel Yehuda is a great location for that. This lake is so wonderful. There's       wonderful hiking along the Peenpack Trail. In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mongaup River. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Mohican Lake has to offer, you can camp at Kittatinny Campgrounds. Do check out Beaver Pond in the neighborhood of Mohican Lake, it's a picturesque lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Mohican Lake; Schiff Trail is a perfect local trail. A typical amount of                  rain falls here at Mohican Lake; through May this area sees the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. A charming lake like Lake Champion near Mohican Lake is a perfect site to go to; Delaware River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby. But wait, there's more to do close to Mohican Lake. Don't leave Mohican Lake without first going for a hike along the Lost Cabin Trail, and if you haven’t been to Delaware National Scenic River, you have to schedule some time for it if you're here. During the months of summer at Mohican Lake temperatures are usually in the 70's, and the overnight is somewhat colder of course, mostly in the 50's.
