While you're here at Mohican Lake, you could also visit beautiful Lake DeVenoge, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Peenpack Trail. From a precipitation point of view Mohican Lake is a quite typical location; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. High temperatures at Mohican Lake through the warm days of summer are in the       70's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 30's; night lows throughout the wintertime for Mohican Lake tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Camp Tel Yehuda is a brilliant location to camp. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Mohican Lake, too good to be true. Dry warm beds await you at Hotel Fauchere, and since you're here you can take a hike                  along the Schiff Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Rio Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could go to, and if you have time to spare, Delaware National Scenic River is a national park worth stopping at. A day on the slopes of Holiday Mountain is just what you need; get your heart beating on the magnificent whitewater of Mongaup River. Why not camp at Kittatinny Campgrounds if you're here at Mohican Lake, and do take a hike on the Lost Cabin Trail.
