Yeah, come here to Lake Mitchell for a great time. The peak of Blue Mountain can be seen from Lake Mitchell, and Lake Mitchell is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Sebago Cabins Harriman is a delightful local campground. This lake is so wonderful. A trip to Charles Point right next door to Lake Mitchell is always a glorious idea; there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Moodna       Creek. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Mitchell; Appalachian National Scenic Trail is a tremendous local trail. There's so much to do here at Lake Mitchell that you need to camp here for a while, Beaver Pond is a great location for that. This lake is so wonderful. The Stillwell Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, and you can hit the slopes at Sterling Forest close by. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Mitchell a wet spot; through                  the month of May you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is February. This is a wonderful region for people who like lakes. Camp Field Reservoir is a lake close by, and if you come at the right time of year, Popolopen Creek offers some splendid whitewater. Watergate Motor Inn is a nice place to get some rest, and some close by water includes Annsville Creek. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Woodtown Trail, and if you need a location to stay Evergreen Manor is a fine choice. Summertime highs at Lake Mitchell usually tend to be in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's.
