Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Adirondack Mountains. Mitchell Ponds Mountain is a peak you can distinguish from Mitchell Ponds, of course you could also pop by Squaw Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling       on Indian River; Knights Inn Little Falls is a wonderful place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Twin Lakes Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and Mitchell Ponds is a magnificent place to visit for more than one day, Tioga Point State Campground is a magnificent place to camp nearby. At Mitchell Ponds during the summertime highs are in the 70's, and the overnight is a tad chillier of course, regularly in the 50's.                  The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows at Mitchell Ponds through the wintertime commonly drop into the 0's. If you're a golfer then a splendid nearby course is Inlet Golf Club, and Moose River - South Branch has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things close to Mitchell Ponds. Mitchell Ponds is not the only site nearby, Beaver Lake is a nearby lake, and there are good places to explore along the Salmon Lake Trail. All the outdoors cool things in the Adirondack Mountains will keep you coming back time and again. There's some flowing water close by, Indian River is a stream you can stop by during your stay, and Browns Tract Pond State Campground is a delightful local campground. Mitchell Ponds is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains.
