A day on the slopes of Ski Big Bear is just what you need; the skiing at Tanglwood is glorious. After a long day outdoors Villa Roma Resort Lodges is a great spot to spend a night or       two; a splendid location to camp here at Mitchell Pond is Upper Delaware Campgrounds. You just must like Mitchell Pond. While you're here at Mitchell Pond you can take a hike along the Crawford Trail, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like French Woods Golf & Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at The Lodge at Woodloch, and going for a hike along the Steam Mill Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty                  of this region. A large amount of precipitation falls at Mitchell Pond; during August this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Through the summer months highs here at Mitchell Pond get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Mitchell Pond drop into the 10's.
