Why not stop by Mirror Lake if you're passing through these parts. Mirror Lake is not the only spot close by, Esopus Lake is a close by lake, and skiing at Hunter Mountain is one of those things you just must do. Mirror Lake is a wet spot that gets a great deal of rain; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Middle Hudson River is a stream that you may encounter during your stay.

| | into a kayak and hit Esopus Creek, and Hussey Hill is clearly visible from Mirror Lake. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Rondout Creek, and dry warm beds await you at Capri Motel. And that's not all you can do here at Mirror Lake. An afternoon playing golf at Wiltwyck Country Club is always a bliss. There's so much to do here at Mirror Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Ulster County Four-h Camp is a good location for that.

the summertime here at Mirror Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime
at Mirror Lake temperatures dip to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Mirror Lake is not far at all from Kingston; you can stay the night at Hidden Valley Lake. After a long day outdoors Pinecrest Acres Bungalow is a good place to spend a night or two, and do schedule some time to explore Big Rock Point if you have a chance.
