The beauty of Mirror Lake is reason enough to stop by. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains. Some of the water close by flows, like Chubb River. Lakes? Sure, Lake Placid is in the vicinity. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Mirror Lake. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 20's with temperatures at Mirror Lake dipping down into the 0's all through

| | winter nights. Mirror Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here, and February is the month with the least moisture.
Yep, outdoors amusing stuff truly is plentiful here in the Adirondack Mountains. Good hiking is available along the Schwartz Trail, and the skiing at Whiteface Mountain is great. Hiking is a popular thing to do around
Mirror Lake; Indian Pass Trail is a great local trail, and if you need a location to stay Golden Arrow Lakeside Resort & Suites is a glorious choice. Get covered with water paddling on Ausable River - West Branch, and a golf course
close by is Craig Wood Golf & Country Club. Float down the rapids of Ausable River - West Branch in a kayak, and there are other sites here than Mirror Lake, for example Echo Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Indian Point is in
the neighborhood and always good to explore, and camping at Adirondak Loj is always a glorious experience. Mirror Lake is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! Mirror Lake is great!
One of the principal features of the surroundings of Mirror Lake is Cobble Hill; a good place to camp here at Mirror Lake is Whispering Pines Campground.
