In New York there are many beautiful lakes, Mirror Lake is one of them. Ausable River - West Branch has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Mirror Lake; Indian Pass Trail is a fine local trail. If you need a spot to stay Lakeview Motor Inn is a tremendous choice, and Connery Pond is a glorious lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. From Mirror Lake you get a good panorama of Cobble Hill, and Mount Pisgah

And if you're still looking for more outdoors entertaining things just keep reading. Indian Point is not far from Mirror Lake at all. This lake is so wonderful. Chubb River flows through this vicinity; delightful hiking is available along the Schwartz Trail. Lakes? Sure, Lake Placid is in close proximity, and the skiing at Whiteface Mountain is pleasant.

the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Adirondack Mountains. A fine close by hotel is Golden Arrow Lakeside Resort & Suites, and Whispering Pines Campground is a fine campground nearby. And if that's not enough, there's
heaps more to do near Mirror Lake. Adirondak Loj is a splendid local campground, and you can go for a hike on the McKenzie Pond Trail.
All through the days of summer here at Mirror Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 70's,
and the overnight is rather cooler of course, ordinarily in the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; night lows in the 0's for Mirror Lake. Mirror Lake is a good place of normal rainfall; August
is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
