Minnow Pond gets a lot of water; most of the rain falls through August, and February is when it's the driest. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. Minnow Pond sits in the shade of the Adirondack Mountains. There's so much to do here at Minnow Pond that you       need to camp here for a while, Whispering woods is a glorious site for that. Minnow Pond is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff at Minnow Pond. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Minnow Pond has to offer, you can camp at Long Lake Camp, and Woodlake Inn is a pleasant place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Round Lake Outlet                  near Minnow Pond; if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Northville Lake Placid Trail. Raquette River is a nice whitewater spot near Minnow Pond; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Upper Cat Pond. Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. Lakes are delightful; Middle Cat Pond is a lake that's next to Minnow Pond. Throughout the long summer days at Minnow Pond highs are commonly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's.
