Mink Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. Woods Valley is a very popular ski area close at hand, and you can go for a hike on the Stone Dam Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious place for whitewater paddling near Mink Lake is Black River; you can hit the slopes at McCauley Mountain in close proximity. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. | | Mountain Trail. There's so much to do here at Mink Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Trails End is a great spot for that. All the outdoors amusing things in the Adirondack Mountains will keep you coming back many times. Stone Dam Lake is a wonderful lake near Mink Lake, and obviously Otter Brook flows through this region. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Mink Lake. Reeds Pond; if you came to camp Kayuta Lake Campground is a great location to do that. Mink Lake typically gets lots of rain; the month with most of the rain is August while February is commonly the driest month. Summer brings highs
in the 70's to Mink Lake. Throughout the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's with temperatures at Mink Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Not enough hours
in a day to enjoy the Adirondack Mountains. Black River is a wonderful whitewater spot next to Mink Lake; nice hiking is available along the Twin Lakes Trail.
