The beauty of Mine Lake attracts many people from all around. You can never get enough of the great skiing at Sterling Forest; the Stillwell Lake Trail is a wonderful hiking trail close by. Any time is a wonderful time at Mine Lake if you go for the outdoors. Really great skiing awaits you at Mt. Peter, and lakes are such calm places, why not go to Sutherland Pond. Hemlock Brook is a great spot to stop by; whitewater paddling is delightful on Moodna Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Econo Lodge Highland Falls is a perfect site to get some rest, and nearby you locate the Woodtown Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail. Sebago Cabins Harriman is a nice campground nearby, and the top of Brooks Mountain is easily distinguished from Mine Lake.

Central Valley Golf Club is a fine way to kill some time; going for a hike on the Breakneck Ridge Trail is always a good adventure. Nearby Brooks Hollow is a brilliant place to go if you're at Mine Lake, and Popolopen Creek has a
nice whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Massawippa is a fine lake right next door to Mine Lake, and if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites West Point-Ft Montgomery, Ny is a great
choice.
There's just no way someone can get bored here at Mine Lake. Beaver Pond is a great local campground. High temperatures at Mine Lake during the summer months are in the 70's with night lows in the 60's. During the wintertime highs are typically in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Mine Lake.
