New York has many beautiful lakes and Miller Pond is one of them. The amount of precipitation that falls at Miller Pond is close to the national average; through the month of June you get the most rain around here, and January on the other hand is the driest. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Cayuta Creek, and naturally Badger Creek flows through this vicinity. Summertime highs at Miller Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 80's. Lakes? Sure, Eldridge Lake is close at hand, and during your trip here you'll meet some people from Elmira for sure. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Sugar Creek, and going for a hike along the Finger Lakes Trail will let you absorb | |

the natural beauty of this area. Not far from Miller Pond, you'll stumble on Weyer Pond which is a pretty lake, and camping is available at Pine Wood Campground.
If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Elmira-Riverview, Ny is
a delightful choice, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the South Slope Trail. That right there is a heap already, but it continues; Miller Pond has it all. A perfect site to camp here at Miller Pond is Gardner
Hill Campground, and Red Carpet Inn Horseheads is a tremendous place to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Mark Twain Community Golf Course, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Gorge Trail.
