    A visit to Mill Pond is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. Budget Motor Inn is a good place to get some rest; a glorious location for whitewater paddling is Moodna Creek. Throughout the summer months highs here at Mill Pond reach the 80's, and the night is rather cooler of course, ordinarily in the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Mill Pond. Mill Pond is a wet spot that gets a large amount  
   of precipitation; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture.
Camping is available at Beaver Pond, and if you're popping by from Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown, you won't be the only one. So much exciting stuff to do here at Mill Pond, too good to be true. The Stillwell Lake Trail offers hiking at its best; lakes are such calm sites, why not stop at Lake Mohegan. Why not camp at Sebago Cabins
 
               Harriman while you're here at Mill Pond, and get your heart beating on the wonderful whitewater of Popolopen Creek.
This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful nearby hotel is Evergreen Manor; at Mill Pond you can spot Snake Hill. Mill Pond is right by the Woodtown Trail; unsurprisingly Hunter Brook is a delightful stream that is worth a visit. There's glorious hiking along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and since you're here you can play some golf at Sanctuary Country Club.
