A visit to Mill Pond is always a good idea. At Mill Pond during the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. During the wintertime highs are typically in the 30's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Mill Pond fall into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Huntington Country Inn is a fine place to spend a night or two; Bluff Point is in the vicinity and always delightful to have a look at. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Oheka Castle is a fine choice; why not visit a swamp like Fleets Cove since you're here at Mill Pond. If you came to camp Sail Caribbean is a great place to do that; a delightful beach nearby is Crescent Beach.

Whitewater paddling is great on Norwalk River, and no need to travel far to go to exciting stuff like Duck Island Bluff. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Camping at Hither Hills State Park is always a great experience,
and if you're here you can play some golf at Dix Hills Country Club. Centerport Beach is a beach near Mill Pond that you can have a look at, and do set aside some time for Little Plains if you're here at Mill Pond.
