There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Schoharie Creek; Hickory Ski Center is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid spot to camp here at Mill Pond is Frosty Acres Campgrounds, and a spree to Mill Pond wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Bozen Kill Falls. All through the warm days of summer here at Mill Pond, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's. When       the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Mill Pond are in the 0's. Dry warm beds await you at Rock Motel, and why not camp at Thompson's Lake State Park if you're here at Mill Pond. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the area near Mill Pond has to offer.
