Jiminy Peak is a fine local ski area, and there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Poesten Kill River. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody close by loves skiing at Willard Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Jericho Valley Inn is a splendid choice, and there are fine sites to discover along the Taconic Crest Trail. Camping is available at Aqua Vista Valley Campgrounds, and there are other places here than Mill Pond, for example

| | Shaver Pond. Man, is there plenty of entertaining stuff to do in the neighborhood of Mill Pond. A tremendous place to camp here at Mill Pond is Broken Wheel Campground, and a good nearby hotel is Jiminy Peak. Don't leave Mill Pond without first going for a hike along the Williams Trail, and not far from Mill Pond you'll discover Second Pond which is a beautiful lake.
