Mill Pond is always a pleasure to visit. The Comfort Trail is a great hiking trail right next door to Mill Pond, and if you need a place to stay VALLEY BROOK INN AND COTTAGES is a magnificent choice. Mill Pond is a pretty wet place regularly with a large amount of rain; May is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is February. And if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do in the neighborhood of Mill Pond. If you're here at Mill

| | Pond and you like golf, you can stop at Green Ridge Golf Club. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Mill Pond has to offer, you can camp at Camp Deerpark. You could also have a look at Elm Lake while you're here at Mill Pond; it's nearby; dry warm beds await you at Wurtsboro - Days Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Mill Pond is not the only location close by, Binnewater Pond is a close by lake. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Mill Pond. | |

For the period of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Mill Pond temperatures fall to the 10's. You'll never
forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Hidden Valley while you're here; since you're here you can take a hike along the Peenpack Trail. There's whitewater on Neversink River for all you thrill seekers; Mill Pond is a good place
to visit for more than one day, Otisville Camp Grounds is a good place to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Mountain Creek; on a fine day you can take a hike along the Lost Cabin Trail.
