For the duration of the days of summer at Mill Pond temperatures are frequently in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Mill Pond. This lake is so wonderful.       Middleport Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could go to; Golden Hill State Park is a great local campground. If only every location had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great planet it would be. After a long day outdoors Lockport Inn and Suites is a great place to spend a night or two. Why not camp at Wildwood Lake Campground if you're here at Mill Pond, and if you come at the right time of year, Murder Creek offers some delightful whitewater.                  Near Mill Pond you discover a golf course called Niagara Orleans Country Club, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Oak Orchard Creek.
