If you're here at Mill Pond,       you could stop at Bartlett Brook, and camping is available at Griffins Ten Acre Campground. High temperatures at Mill Pond during the warm days of summer are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are typically in the 20's; overnight lows in the 0's for Mill Pond. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. Burns Mountain is beautiful and can be observed from Mill                  Pond, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Mill Pond; Clear Pond Trail is a magnificent local trail. Do schedule some time to take a look at Craig Harbor close to Mill Pond if you have a chance; you can go for a hike on the Bear Pond Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Mill Creek, and brilliant hiking is available along the Lost Pond Trail.
