    Mill Pond is a lake worth visiting. Mill Pond gets a normal amount of rain; through the month of August you get the most rain around here while January is commonly the driest month. There's so much to do here at Mill Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Griffins Ten Acre Campground is a good location for that, and some close by water includes Bartlett Brook. These mountains rock, just explore all the entertaining stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains.  
   If you need a spot to stay Best Western Ticonderoga Inn & Suites is a brilliant choice. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Mill Pond has to offer, you can camp at Craig Harbor Canyon.
For the duration of the warmest time of the year here at Mill Pond, high temperatures usually reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Mill Pond temperatures
 
               drop to the 0's. You clearly have to love the Adirondack Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Ticonderoga - Super 8 Motel, and Mill Pond is right by the Lost Pond Trail. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Mill Pond. Whitewater paddling is great on Mill Creek; you have to pop by Craig Harbor when you're here.
This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Clear Pond Trail, and at Mill Pond you can observe Burns Mountain. Paddling on Putnam Creek is so much fun, and the Bear Pond Trail offers hiking at its best.
