Do stop at Bartlett Pond near Mill Pond, it's a picturesque lake, and the Clear Pond Trail offers hiking at its best. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Mill Pond; August is the wettest                  month with most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. Get soaked paddling on Mill Creek, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Ticonderoga Inn & Suites. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. So much fun stuff to do here in the Adirondack Mountains, too good to be true. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Mill Pond; Lost Pond Trail is a good local trail; you can stay the night at Craig Harbor Canyon. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Putnam Creek, and taking a little spree to close by Craig Harbor is a pleasant idea. There's perfect hiking along the Bear Pond Trail.
