Throughout the warm days of summer at Midget Pond highs are mostly in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while Midget Pond nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's. There is a great hiking trail in the neighborhood of Midget Pond called the Ash Pond Trail, and not far from Midget Pond you'll come across Kildare Pond | |

which is a lovely lake. Going for a hike on the Sixmile Creek Trail is always a perfect adventure; get yourself into a kayak and hit St. Regis River - West Branch.
Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Adirondack
Mountains. There are other locations here than Midget Pond, for example Buck Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Midget Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Santa Clara Riverside RV Park and Campground is a great local campground;
why not take a look at nearby Brandy Brook if you're here at Midget Pond. All year is a good time in the Adirondack Mountains if you go for the outdoors. A wonderful place to camp here at Midget Pond is Robinson's Iga, and at Midget Pond you always meet someone from Malone.
