And if that's not enough there's lots more exciting stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. A nice place for whitewater paddling close to Midget Pond is Jordan River. One of the principal features of the surroundings of Midget Pond is Number 19 Mountain, and you're probably into lakes, Kildare Pond is one of those close by. Midget Pond gets a common amount of yearly rainfall; of all the months in a year August is the one with       the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Sixmile Creek Trail; Santa Clara Riverside RV Park and Campground is a great campground here. Be careful coming to Midget Pond, you might not ever want to go back home again. Midget Pond is a great spot to camp, Robinson's Iga is a great spot, and a good close by hotel is Stone Manor. Brandy Brook is a great local stream, and if you need a site to stay                  Mountain Gate Motel is a wonderful choice. Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. There are pleasant places to explore along the Ash Pond Trail, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on St. Regis River - West Branch. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. High temperatures at Midget Pond throughout the warm days of summer are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's.
