Summertime at Middle Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Middle Lake temperatures plunge to the 10's. Drift down the rapids of Chautauqua Creek in a kayak, and golf can be played at Cassadaga Lakes       Golf Club. And that's not all you can do here at Middle Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay The White Inn is a great choice, and camping is available at Arkwright Hills Campsite. All the water falling down from the sky makes Middle Lake a wet place; during the month of September you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. The good folks of Jamestown-Dunkirk-Fredonia like to hang out close by, and                  you can never get enough of the pleasant skiing at Cockaigne.
