Lots of precipitation falls at Middle Branch Lake; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. There's so much to do here at Middle Branch Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Singing waters Campground is a fine site for that, and the Twin Lakes Trail is a good hiking trail nearby. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Adirondack       Mountains. Stay the night at Cold Brook Campsites, and whitewater paddling is magnificent on Moose River - Middle Branch. But wait, there's more enjoyable stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Take a little spree to Lost Creek while you're here at Middle Branch Lake, and there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Forty Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Man, is there a load of fun stuff to do close to Middle Branch Lake. You can never get                  enough of the nice skiing at McCauley Mountain, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Stone Dam Trail. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Cedar Pond, and nice skiing awaits you at Snow Ridge. This lake is so wonderful. Get soaked paddling on Moose River. Lakes are brilliant; Middle Settlement Lake is a lake that's near Middle Branch Lake. High temperatures at Middle Branch Lake during the summertime months are in the 70's while night lows are regularly in the 50's.
