You'll come across a striking lake called Trout Lake near Melody Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Lost Cabin Trail. Throughout the summertime months highs here at Melody Lake reach the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. to spend more than a day at, Likimbra Campgrounds is a great local campground, and do take a hike on the Schiff Trail. While you're here at Melody Lake, you could also explore beautiful Gillman Pond, and get your heart pumping on
the magnificent whitewater of Neversink River. The Peenpack Trail offers hiking at its best, and getting to Turner Brook from Melody Lake is trouble-free. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Econo Lodge Monticello is a great choice, and hey, Gotta ski right? Holiday Mountain is a tremendous site to do that.
