This lake is so wonderful. A nice nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Highland Falls, and enjoy a round of golf at Minisceongo Golf Club. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Sterling Forest; if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Appalachian       National Scenic Trail. There's some flowing water close by, Dickey Brook is a stream you can pop by while here, and this is a popular site for folks from New York-Newark-Edison. So much entertaining stuff next to Lake Meahagh, completely tremendous. Yep, outdoors exciting                  things to do are truly abundant here at Lake Meahagh. Lake Meahagh ordinarily gets a large amount of rain; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Beaver Pond; why not visit Charles Point also if you're here. On a perfect day at Lake Meahagh you can take a hike along the Stillwell Lake Trail, and Lounsbury Pond is a nearby lake that you could visit. A delightful spot for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Lake Meahagh is Moodna Creek, and you can run the rapids of Popolopen Creek. All through the months of summer, highs typically are in the 80's at Lake Meahagh, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
