You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake Meahagh has to offer, you can camp at Sebago Cabins Harriman, and there is a fine hiking trail close by called the Woodtown Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A nice nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Highland Falls, and enjoy a round of golf at Minisceongo Golf Club. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Sterling Forest; if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Appalachian

things to do are truly abundant here at Lake Meahagh. Lake Meahagh ordinarily gets a large amount of rain; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
Stay the night at Beaver Pond; why not visit Charles Point also if you're here. On a perfect day at Lake Meahagh you can take a hike along the Stillwell Lake Trail, and Lounsbury Pond is a nearby lake that you could visit. A delightful
spot for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Lake Meahagh is Moodna Creek, and you can run the rapids of Popolopen Creek. All through the months of summer, highs typically are in the 80's at Lake Meahagh, and during summer
nights temperatures are in the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Lake Meahagh drop into the 10's.
