This lake is so wonderful. A pretty lake like Faxons Pond in the neighborhood of Meade Pond is a perfect place to pop by, and Green Mansion Golf Course is a golf course nearby. For the duration of the summertime months here at Meade Pond, high temperatures generally get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while Meade Pond overnight low temperatures through       the wintertime are in the 0's. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Hudson River, and everybody close by loves skiing at Gore Mountain. Meade Pond is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. Yep, outdoors cool things to do are in fact abundant here at Meade Pond. Meade Pond is a great location to visit for more than one day, Canoe Creek Campground is a great location to camp nearby, and a fine close by hotel is Blue Lagoon on Lake Georg.                  Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Adirondack Mountains. Country Haven Campground is a pleasant local campground, and if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Spectacle Pond Trail. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Adirondack Mountains will keep you coming back time and again. Near Meade Pond you come across the Long Swing Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail, and if you need a place to stay Lake George/Warrensburg Super 8 Motel is a fine choice. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Schroon River offers some wonderful whitewater, and Sullivan Pond is a magnificent lake nearby. You absolutely must like Meade Pond. The yearly rainfall here at Meade Pond is about average; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. Panther Mountain can be observed from Meade Pond, and the Pharoah Mountain Trail is a great hiking trail close by. Gotta ski!
