    If you like lakes and you're in this part of New York you can check out McKenzie Pond. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Adirondack Mountains. You are in close proximity to Moody Bay since you're here at McKenzie Pond; McKenzie Pond is a tremendous site to visit for more than one day, Donaldson George A and Sons is a tremendous site to camp nearby. Baker Mountain is a peak you can distinguish from McKenzie Pond, and enjoy a round of golf at  
   Saranac Lake Golf Club. Through the summer months at McKenzie Pond temperatures are usually in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to McKenzie Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the McKenzie Pond Trail, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Mountain Lake Inn is a wonderful choice. And that's not all the things you can do here in the
 
               Adirondack Mountains. Having a great time at McKenzie Pond is uncomplicated. You're sure to bump into some cheerful folks from Malone here, and if you've had enough of McKenzie Pond, Oseetah Lake is nearby.
McKenzie Pond gets a lot of water; August is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Visit Little Ray Brook since you're here at McKenzie Pond; Pioneer Village is a tremendous local campground. Get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Saranac River - North Branch; there's great hiking along the Schwartz Trail.
So many enjoyable things in the Adirondack Mountains, just phenomenal. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Ausable River - West Branch; a good nearby hotel is THE HOTEL SARANAC. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. So many fun things near McKenzie Pond, clearly unbelievable. Whiteface Mountain is a perfect local ski area, and the skiing at Mount Pisgah is brilliant.
McKenzie Pond is not the only site nearby, Lake Flower is a nearby lake, and great hiking is available along the Indian Pass Trail.
