Going for a hike on the Schwartz Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and Bennett Hill is a peak you can catch a glimpse of from McGinnity Pond. McGinnity Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Adirondack Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Macomb Reservation is a wonderful location to camp, and close by you locate the Silver Lake Mountain Trail which is a       perfect hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. This place, the Adirondack Mountains, has so much outdoors entertaining things. Indole Golf Course is a golf course in close proximity to McGinnity Pond, and if you need a spot to stay Jay Lodge is a pleasant choice. What a place this is for outdoors folks. You're sure to encounter some wonderful folks from Plattsburgh here, and after a long day outdoors Cloudspin Lodge is a perfect place to spend a night                  or two. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Saranac River, and Whiteface Mountain has glorious slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at McGinnity Pond is great fun, Au Sable River Campsite is a great local campground, and a pleasant spot for whitewater paddling is Black River. For the duration of the months of summer here at McGinnity Pond, high temperatures generally reach the 70's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are frequently in the 20's while McGinnity Pond nighttime low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 0's.
