Hiking is a popular thing to do around McCabe Pond; Salmon Lake Trail is a magnificent local trail; do set aside some time for Cowboy Beaver Meadow while you're here at McCabe Pond. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Snow Ridge are so inviting nobody can resist, and delightful hiking is available along the Post Henderson Trail. If you came for an overnight stay Natural Bridge K O A Camp       Ground is a wonderful location to camp; if you need a spot to stay Stillwater Motel is a pleasant choice. Through the months of summer, highs typically are in the 80's at McCabe Pond. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are regularly in the 20's while the cold winter nights at McCabe Pond are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Brantingham Inn Motel is a delightful location to get some rest, and the Norridge Trail offers hiking                  at its best.
