If you like lakes and you're in this part of New York you can check out Mastens Lake. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Neversink River, and there's wonderful hiking along the Peenpack Trail. This place, Mastens Lake, it just has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Lochmor Golf Course is a tremendous golf course close by, and a tremendous site to camp here at Mastens Lake is Catskill Mountain Ranch and Camping Club. For the period of the summer months at Mastens Lake highs are regularly in the 70's while overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. Point is in the neighborhood of Mastens Lake and is a good location to stop at, and if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sandburg Creek.

A day on the slopes of Holiday Mountain is just what you need, and if you need a location to stay The Lodge at Rock Hill is a wonderful choice.
