This lake is so wonderful. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Neversink River, and why not head up to Holiday Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. During the warm days of summer at Mastens Lake temperatures are usually in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. Highs through the       wintertime are commonly in the 20's while Mastens Lake nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. Mastens Lake is a rather wet place regularly with a lot of rain; the month with most of the rain is May; February is when it's the driest. Golf can be played at Lochmor Golf Course, and you're probably into lakes, Bowers Pond is one of those nearby. This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is The Lodge at Rock Hill; why not take a                  refreshing hike along the Peenpack Trail. If you need a place to stay Days Inn Wurtsboro is a perfect choice, and since you're here, do take a spree to Middletown Point. You just ought to love Mastens Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Mastens Lake has to offer, you can camp at Catskill Mountain Ranch and Camping Club, and if you've had enough of Mastens Lake, Beaver Lake is nearby.
