Mason Lake is a nice lake to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Pleasant Inn is a splendid place to get some rest; on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail. But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Mason Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Sacandaga River - Middle Branch, and after a long day outdoors Cedarhurst Motor Lodge is a good site to spend a night

This lake is so wonderful. There is a great hiking trail right next door to Mason Lake called the Northville Lake Placid Trail; some close by water includes Callahan Brook. If the weather is great here at Mason Lake, you can go for a hike along the Sucker Brook Trail, and Mason Lake is not the only location nearby, Panther Pond is a nearby lake. the winter the highs are regularly in the 20's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Mason Lake temperatures drop to the 0's.
The high level of rain makes Mason Lake a rather wet location; most of the rain falls during August,
and February meanwhile is the driest month. Mason Lake is located in the Adirondack Mountains. These mountains rock, just look at all the amusing stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Get your heart beating on the perfect whitewater
of Cedar River, and you can stay the night at Whispering woods.
If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Adirondack Mountains. The fine people of Gloversville like to hang out close by, and Mason Lake is a tremendous site to camp, Tioga Point State Campground is a tremendous site.
