There's nice hiking along the Bomoseen Hiking Loop, and Martins Pond       is not far at all from Glens Falls. This lake is so wonderful. Lily Pond is a nearby lake that you could explore. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Willard Mountain is one of those things you just have to do; if you need a location to stay Arcady At The Sunderland Lodge is a pleasant choice. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Martins Pond; Glen Lake Trail is a magnificent local trail; why not stop by a swamp like Hollister Swamp if you're here at                  Martins Pond. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Martins Pond. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while Martins Pond nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Poultney River; why not take a refreshing hike along the Half Moon Pond Trail.
