     New York has many beautiful lakes and Martins Pond is one of them. An average amount of rainfall falls at Martins Pond; August is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. Arcady At The Sunderland Lodge is a wonderful place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Bomoseen State Park Campground is a splendid campground here, and there is a nice hiking trail close by called the Bomoseen Hiking Loop.

   of the year, highs generally are in the 80's at Martins Pond while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and night lows at Martins Pond during the winter commonly descend into the 0's. You truly should fancy Martins Pond. At Martins Pond you always meet someone from Glens Falls, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Mettawee River. There's whitewater on  
               Poultney River for all you adrenaline junkies, and going for a hike on the Half Moon Pond Trail is always a perfect adventure.
If you like swamps, you're in luck, Hollister Swamp is right close by; Martins Pond is a tremendous place to camp, Lake Bomoseen Camp Ground is a tremendous place. The snow is wonderful at Willard Mountain, and close by you find the Glen Lake Trail which is a splendid hiking trail.
