hike along the Sherwood Path, and Nanuet Days Inn is a brilliant location to get some rest. At Martins Lake during the days of summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. Highs throughout the
wintertime are regularly in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Martins Lake. Gateway National Recreation Area is a good site near Martins Lake. Martins Lake is a rather wet place mostly with a great deal of rainfall;
the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Popolopen Creek, and an afternoon playing golf at Manhattan Woods Golf Club is always a diversion.
