In New York there are many beautiful lakes, Martin Pond is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. On a pleasant day at Martin Pond you can take a hike along the Rock Pond Trail, and Putnam Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. Not far from Martin Pond, you'll hit upon Knob Pond which is a pretty lake, and Bennett Hill is clearly visible from Martin Pond. Martin Pond is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful.

| | Whitewater paddling is good on Schroon River, and a swamp like Ingalls Marsh near Martin Pond has lots of interesting things to see. If the weather is tremendous here at Martin Pond, you can go for a hike along the Short Swing Trail; there's some flowing water nearby, Burnt Mill Brook is a stream you can take a look at while you're here. Best Western Ticonderoga Inn & Suites is a great site to get some rest, and a tremendous place to camp here at Martin Pond is Medcalf Acres Campsite. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Adirondack Mountains. Lakes?
Sure, Little Rock Pond is close at hand, and a good close by hotel is Ticonderoga - Super 8 Motel. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things to do are in fact bountiful here at Martin Pond. The Long Swing Trail is a great hiking trail in
close proximity to Martin Pond; Martin Pond is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Echo Lake Southwoods is a magnificent local campground. Martin Pond gets a normal amount of rainfall; most of the rain falls during August, and the driest month is February.
