There are some glorious whitewater spots on Neversink River, and possibly you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Reservoir Number Two is just a very short distance away. The high level of precipitation makes Martin Lake a reasonably wet place; most of the rain falls all through May, and February       is the month with the least moisture. Be careful coming to Martin Lake, you might not ever want to go home again. A quick spree to Gold Creek close to Martin Lake is a tremendous idea, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Lost Cabin Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Tamaqua Golf Course not far from Martin Lake; hiking along the Peenpack Trail is glorious fun. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Mountain Creek are                  so inviting noone can resist, and Martin Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Shippekonk Campground is a nice local campground. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Port Jervis; unsurprisingly, this is a good vicinity for folks who like lakes, Heintein Pond is a lake nearby. Everybody close by loves skiing at Holiday Mountain. There's so much to do here at Martin Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Tri-State RV Park is a delightful location for that. During the summer here at Martin Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 70's, and the overnight is rather cooler of course, regularly in the 50's.
