Beautiful Marsh Pond has much to offer visitors. These mountains rock, just look at all the entertaining stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Marsh Pond has to offer, you can camp at Lake Placid/Whiteface MT KOA, and the Schwartz Trail is a fine hiking trail nearby. Marsh Pond is a splendid place to visit for more than one day, KOA Kampgrounds is a splendid place to camp nearby, and going for a hike on the Southside Trail is always a great adventure. Through the summer here at Marsh Pond, high temperatures mostly reach the 70's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are frequently | |

in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Marsh Pond. After a long day outdoors Courtyard Lake Placid is a wonderful place to spend a night or two; close by you locate the Johns Brook Trail which is a splendid hiking
trail.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. High Falls is always fun to check out, and playing golf is lots of fun at Craig Wood Golf & Country Club. From Marsh Pond
you get a great view of Kilburn Mountain, and High Falls Gorge is another pleasant site to explore close by.
And if that's not sufficient, there's a lot more to do in the vicinity of Marsh Pond. Ausable River - West Branch is
a magnificent whitewater spot close to Marsh Pond, and a pleasant close by hotel is Mirror Lake Inn. If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Adirondack Mountains. The friendly folks of Plattsburgh like
to hang out close by, and the overriding feature in the vicinity is the Sentinel Range. If only every location had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great earth it would be. Whiteface Mountain is a very popular ski area in the
vicinity; do stop by Connery Pond, it's a wonderful lake.
From a rainfall point of view Marsh Pond is a relatively typical location; through August this area sees the most rain; February is when it's the driest.
