Going for a hike along the Schwartz Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; this is a popular place for people from Plattsburgh. And if that's not enough there's a lot more amusing things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. If the weather is wonderful here at Marsh Pond, you can go for a hike along the Johns Brook Trail; get your heart pumping on       the tremendous whitewater of Ausable River - West Branch. At Marsh Pond you can distinguish Kilburn Mountain, and a tremendous spot to have a look at close by is High Falls Gorge. This lake is so wonderful. The peaks of the Sentinel Range dominate the scenery of this vicinity, and since you're here you can play some golf at Craig Wood Golf & Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. On a fine day at Marsh Pond you can take a hike along the Southside Trail, and                  KOA Kampgrounds is a good campground nearby. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Marsh Pond. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Marsh Pond are in the 0's. Now, you may imagine that's a load but there's even more cool things to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. Stay the night at Lake Placid/Whiteface MT KOA, and if you need a place to stay Mirror Lake Inn is a perfect choice. But wait, there's more to do close to Marsh Pond. It's always good to pop by High Falls, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Mount Pisgah. Just can't get enough of Marsh Pond.
