Marsh Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains. A great site to take a look at in the neighborhood of Marsh Pond is High Falls Gorge; dry warm beds await you at Courtyard Lake Placid. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Ausable River - West Branch; after a long day outdoors Mirror Lake Inn is a nice spot to spend a night or two. Marsh Pond gets a normal amount of rainfall; most of the rain falls through       August; the driest of the months is February. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Marsh Pond. Going for a hike along the Johns Brook Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; the top of Kilburn Mountain is easily observed from Marsh Pond. If you came to camp Lake Placid/Whiteface MT KOA is a great place to do that, and Winch Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Adirondack                  Mountains. Hiking along the Schwartz Trail is glorious fun; for you golfers we recommend close by Craig Wood Golf & Country Club. Yep, outdoors cool things truly is abundant here in the Adirondack Mountains. So many enjoyable things to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not enough time. While you're here at Marsh Pond you can take a hike along the Southside Trail, and you'll most likely meet some folks from Plattsburgh here. Summertime at Marsh Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are ordinarily in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Marsh Pond are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. The Sentinel Range casts its shadow over Marsh Pond; the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at High Falls. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the delightful skiing at Whiteface Mountain, and a lake close by is Copperas Pond. Be careful coming to Marsh Pond, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Really great skiing awaits you at Mount Pisgah.
